Hi, You can determine if your phone service would have good quality or bad quality by pinging Vonage proxies try this if you are using Windows open command prompt type in ping -l 600 -n 50 p.voncp.com, if the average latency is under 150 ms that's great but remember you are using wireless and VoIP uses RTP protocol meaning Real Time Protocol so when you speak the other party is supposed to hear you as soon as possible, because of the wireless connection there will be some delay on the line but if you call the tech support we can fix it. And of course using a 5 GHZ wireless router would help a lot, since a lot of devices operate at 2.4 GHZ
